Privacy Policy

Information pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR

1. Controller

[Full name], [Street and number], [Postcode and city]
Email: [email address]

2. In short

These pages are made for children and deliberately collect very little data: they use no cookies, no analytics or advertising tools, no user accounts and no newsletter. Fonts, images and scripts are not loaded from third-party servers. That is why no cookie banner is needed.

3. Entries in the exercises

Answers that children type into the exercise fields are processed only in the browser on their own device. They are not sent to us and not stored. Please do not enter names or personal data in these fields.

4. Hosting and server log files

These pages are hosted by [name and address of the hosting provider]. On every visit the server automatically stores technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and the previously visited page. This is needed to deliver the pages and run them securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The data are deleted after [number] days. A data processing agreement exists with the provider.

5. Read-aloud function

Some pages offer a read-aloud function. It uses the speech output of your browser or device (Web Speech API). The text is only passed to this speech output; we do not transmit any data. Depending on your browser and the voice chosen, the speech output may use online services of the browser vendor. If you do not want that, choose a local voice on your device or do not use the function.

6. Fonts

The fonts used are embedded in the pages. No fonts are loaded from Google or other providers.

7. Age rating label

The pages carry a machine-readable age label so that youth-protection programs can recognise them. No personal data are processed in doing so.

8. Contact

If you write to us, we store your message and email address only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when the matter is settled, unless a legal retention duty applies. Contact: [email address].

9. Links to other sites

These pages contain links, for example to the imprint, to youth-protection services and to other sites of the operator. Only when you click on them do you leave these pages, and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Please write to the email address above. For children, the parents or guardians can exercise these rights.

11. Right to complain

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Bavaria this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

12. Changes

We adapt this policy when the pages or the legal situation change. Last updated: [month year].
